PATIENT REFERRALS

Patient ReferralWe appreciate the trust you place in us by referring your patients to Urological Associates of Southern Arizona for urologic care. All of our physicians are qualified to diagnosis and treat the full range of urologic problems, are board certified and many are fellowship-trained in specialized areas. Seven have been named “Top Docs” by The Best Doctors in America database (Best Doctors, Inc.).

Please feel free to refer a patient to any of our physicians. If the patient will be best served by one of our Urological Associates physician with specialized training, one of our physicians will refer the patient to the most appropriate physician within our group. We will work closely with you to provide the best care for your patient.

COLLABORATION

CollaborationThe physicians of Urological Associates of Southern Arizona, P.C. strive to place the clinical care of your patients above all other considerations. Our physicians have placed a very high value on collaborating with physicians across Southern Arizona since 1969. We hold internal “Roundtable” meetings every month. These Roundtable meetings model Residency/Fellowship programs with a focus on important learning from key sources within the Urology Community. Our agendas focus on:

  • Case Presentation-Challenging cases are presented in order to facilitate feedback from other physicians on the best approach for the unique situation our patient is experiencing
  • Journal/Article review-Articles from leading clinical journals are disseminated, summarized and discussed.
  • Clinical Research-our group participates in many Urology specific research trials covering many of the most common problems our patients’ experience. Our principal investigators review parameters for patient eligibility and the options for additional treatment.

Our Roundtable meetings are well attended and enjoy “lively discussion” among the physicians within our group and guests whom attend from time to time. We would like you to feel free to collaborate with us. If you are a Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and are interested in attending one of our Roundtable discussions, please call (520)795-5830 and ask to speak with Kathi Marine.
