Regain your Femininity!
Millions of women today suffer from dryness, burning sensation and urinary incontinience that occurs during pre-menopause or after child birth. The primary cause of this is often atrophic vaginitis – a disease that can affect every part of your life – but it doesn’t have to any longer. Now it’s possible to treat this disease with no pain, no side effects and can be done in just a few minutes with a procedure called the MonaLisa Touch.
MonaLisa Touch is a relatively new treatment that uses laser energy to treat the symptoms of atrophic vaginitis. MonaLisa Touch is a medical laser that delivers controlled energy to the vaginal tissue so cells make more collagen. It gently acts on the tissue of the vaginal mucosa and improves the natural function of the treated area by restoring the proper trophic balance to the membrane.
Your quality of life does not have to suffer – talk to Urological Associates of Southern Arizona today to learn how this easy and revolutionary treatment can benefit you!

How it Works – A simple and safe treatment!
MonaLisa Touch treats the symptoms of vaginal health by generating new collagen, elastin and vascularization of the vaginal mucosa. The procedure is safe, virtually painless and uses proven methods similar to those used to treat aging facial skin.
It does this using a gentle fractional CO2 laser with a vaginal probe. The laser energy is virtually painless. Similar to your annual exam, the physician will insert the probe into your vagina and deliver laser energy pulses. The entire procedure is less than 5 minutos.
A unique pulse targets surface epithelial tissue and deep lamina propria tissue to stimulate the synthesis of new collagen and the components of the ground substance of the matrix.
Fractionated beams of light penetrate small areas of tissue. This creates small injuries in the epithelial layer of the vaginal mucosa which triggers fibroblast activity which stimulates new collagen production.
“I suffered from Stress Urinary Incontinence and this was seriously affecting my life. MonaLisa Touch for me it has to be a must for every woman. I feel so happy and a new person now.”
“The treatment itself is totally painless, it just feels like a little bit of a vibration. It’s just like a pap test!”
“MonaLisa Touch definitively changed my life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 29 and after the therapy I started experiencing all side effects of vaginal atrophy. It is a treatment that you can do without feeling scared that is going to make your breast cancer coming back, or cause other health side effects.”
Has MonaLisa Been Clinically Studied?
A multisite study was conducted by two leading Urogynecologists who are experts in the field of postmenopausal gynecologic health; Dr. Mickey Karram, Director of Fellowship Program on Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, OH and Dr. Eric Sokol, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Stanford University Medical Center. Additionally, recent results from a trial evaluating the laser treatment on postmenopausal women and breast cancer survivors who are experiencing gynecologic health issues shows positive results and a high patient satisfaction rating.
